Restaurants that closed in October 2025 in Toronto will be sorely missed by all their regulars that used to enjoy their great food. Whether they were around for only a short time or many years, either way we’re definitely sad to see them go.
This past month, we lost restaurants for delicious Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Thai cuisine, as well as a longstanding brewhouse that served their own beer alongside tasty comfort food.
While some of these spots may only have been one location for a restaurant and you’re still able to visit another, it’s always a bummer when it gets just that much harder to grab a bite to eat from somewhere really good.
Here are restaurants that closed in October 2025 in Toronto.
The uptown location of this high end Mediterranean restaurant has now closed down. They’re part of a group that’s also responsible for many other popular restaurants in Toronto, and even other cities like Miami. It’s unfortunate that the uptown neighbourhood has lost this taste of world class cuisine. They served dishes like manti, pide, and a Mediterranean take on fried chicken.
Thai food is no longer being served at the Bayview location of this restaurant. It’s actually the spot that started it all for the business that originated in Leaside, and now has partnered with a Thai massage business to go viral and become more popular than ever at their Yonge and Lawrence location.

This restaurant started out in Mississauga, but more recently opened a downtown Toronto location in the Wellington Market food hall area of new development The Well. Unfortunately, the location didn’t last long, as the more takeout-based concept at The Well has now closed down. The Mississauga location is still open.

After 13 very successful and long years, this brewpub on Dundas Street West in the Junction area bid farewell to its loving community on Oct. 11. They were known not only for their amazing selection of beers that they brewed themselves, but also for the food they made to go along with it including some seriously top-tier mac and cheese.
“It’s been 13 years, and we’re sad to go, but have been unable to come to a new lease term with our LL and have decided it’s best we find another home,” operators said on social media.
“The Brewpub at Eataly Bay and Bloor and production will still continue, please come visit us there.”

The Danforth loses this restaurant for quality grab-and-go sushi at the end of October.
