A Japanese restaurant known for serving sushi has just announced that they will suddenly and abruptly be closing their doors within a matter of just days in Toronto.

Atto Sushi has become well known for their epic sushi meals, which are available for dine in, takeout and grab-and-go. They served Japanese food such as chirashi and sushi platters, as well as other options like udon salad, chicken katsu don and kaisen don. However, they were probably best known for their sushi.

The sushi restaurant bid farewell to their local community with a very simple but heartfelt message on their social media.

“It’s time for us to say goodbye. Thank you for sharing so many meals, memories and moments with us. We are forever grateful to all who have supported us,” reads the basic message posted to social media, signed by the Atto sushi staff.
