Popular burger chain finally opening in this southern Ontario city

A burger chain with locations across the province is finally opening its doors in a southern Ontario city that’s been highly anticipating it.

Rudy is a local smash burger chain that started out with just one location in downtown Toronto, and has now exploded to over 20 locations over the decade it’s been open.

This location that’s been highly anticipated in its southern Ontario community will be the 21st Rudy restaurant.

Rudy is known for its simple menu that emphasizes the humble smash burger. It’s been put on countless best burger lists, but that’s not all that Rudy serves.

The smash burger lineup at Rudy consists of the Rudy (a single cheeseburger), the Rude Dude (a double cheeseburger), the Big Rudy (basically a Big Mac), the Crudy (a double cheeseburger with fried onions, pickles and Rudy sauce) and the Baby Crudy (just one patty with all the same toppings as the Crudy). You can also get any burger “tattooed,” AKA topped with bacon.

Rudy also serves a chicken sandwich called the Valentino, as well as poutine, pickle chips, brownies and banana pudding.

Now, Rudy is bringing all that burger beefiness to a new area of Ontario with the opening of its 21st location in the area of Bradford. A social media post saying the Bradford location of Rudy is “coming soon” has nearly 500 likes and many comments from people who can’t wait to see the restaurant open.

The community of Bradford has been hotly anticipating the opening of its own Rudy location, and now it’s right on the horizon.

Rudy at 396 Holland St. W. in Bradford should be opening around the end of November.
