Their coffee menu has all kinds of standard cafe beverages, but they’re also offering a decent range of more specialty drinks.

While you can get your usual drip, espresso, and typical espresso-based beverages such as flat whites, cortados and lattes, Dialog also offers more specialty options that include espresso tonic and vanilla raf.

Dialog Cafe is even serving affogatos, as well as a unique saffron honey iced latte. They also serve a range of teas, including matcha and chai.

They also have a range of baked goods, some of which draw inspiration from international flavours.

You can get your classic croissants in butter, chocolate and pistachio varieties, but they also have chocolate or cinnamon babka as well as potato bureka and even a cheese bureka sandwich with feta, boiled egg, tahini, pickles, tomato and parsley.

When it comes to their food menu, Dialog Cafe is starting out by serving a tight range of meze, salads, sandwiches and hot dishes, plus a few light options.

Salads include a warm mushroom salad, and meze consist of olives and dips of labneh, hummus and babaganoush.

The Dialog salad has kale, cabbage, carrots, green peas, parsley, mung beans, scallions, mint, roasted almonds, parmesan cheese and a balsamic zaatar vinaigrette. Their Mutual salad is made with Napa cabbage, green bell pepper, radish, mint, scallions, red onion, fennel, quinoa, dried cranberries, labneh and a sumac orange vinaigrette.

Their sandwiches include a breakfast sandwich, roasted veggie sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich and a smoked salmon bagel. And when it comes to these sandwiches, they’re not playing around, incorporating fun global influences like zaatar and shug.

The breakfast sandwich and the smoked salmon bagel both contain an entire latke. The breakfast sammy also has scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, spinach and green onion, and the smoked salmon bagel is made with labneh, capers and red onion.

Their hot dishes for now are a challah avocado toast, French toast, shakshuka, lemongrass chicken skewers and a vegetarian herb omelette. They’ve also got a yogurt cup and a chia pudding for lighter options, both with seasonal fruit.

Dialog Cafe is now open at 106 Mutual St.
