Lunchables are making a comeback in Ontario

Remember Lunchables, those plastic snack kits designed for lunch boxes that basically introduced us all to charcuterie boards? If you’ve been mourning those convenient little packs readily available at the grocery store, dry your tears: they’re back.
Lunchables has announced a triumphant return to Canada, and even put out a video where they said a belated goodbye to the country 15 years later.
“15 years ago, Lunchables disappeared, and we didn’t even say anything,” says the “spokesperson” in the video. “Who leaves without saying goodbye?”
It was shortly followed by a video saying hello again, letting Canadian lovers of stackable snacks know they’ve returned.
They might look a little different than they did when you were a kid, though, updating their old font to be a little funkier and more stylish.
The packs themselves are all pretty much the same as you remember them: the five varieties available in Canada are their Ham Cracker Stacker, Turkey Cracker Stacker, Cheese Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and Nachos.
“Lunchables is more than just fuel for the body or a quick snack — it powers kids’ creativity through buildability,” Daniel Gotlib, head of marketing and strategy at Kraft Heinz, said in a statement.
“There are endless possibilities for what kids and their imaginations can build with Lunchables. We are so excited for Lunchables return to Canada.”
Not only are Lunchables back with a vengeance, they’re also celebrating their Canadian comeback by giving away free samples. Up to 10,000 coupons for a free lunchables product are up for grabs at Lunchables.ca.
Whether you have kids of your own by now or are a big kid yourself who now loves to pair a good ol’ Ham Cracker Stacker with a glass of wine, you can snag a coupon for some free snacks and reminisce.
