A vegan restaurant with origins in Burlington is opening the doors of their first Toronto location.

Lettuce Love Cafe is a plant-based restaurant for healthy vegan and gluten-free eats that’s been operating in Burlington for nearly 15 years. After all that time, they’re now expanding to Toronto.

They use sustainable, non-GMO ingredients for their menu of starters, salads, bowls, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, brunch and coffee. Think nachos, chili, Caesar salad, falafel bowls, jackfruit tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches and Reubens.

Their weekend brunch includes options like huevos rancheros, pancakes, avocado toast and classic-style breakfasts that sub in tofu for eggs. When it comes to milk for your coffee, you have the choice of oat, almond or coconut.

Lettuce Love Cafe is now sharing all their vegan deliciousness with Toronto by opening up a brand new location here on Bloor Street West.

They’re celebrating their grand opening in Toronto by giving away free power bowls to their first 30 guests, and they’ll also be having a raffle for free bowls for a year.

Not only are they opening a Toronto location, but it looks like Lettuce Love Cafe is also planning on opening a Hamilton location in the future. According to their website, it should be opening at 1023 King St. W.

Lettuce Love Cafe in Toronto at 2241 Bloor St. W. is having their grand opening on Dec. 7.
