A brand new fast casual restaurant for Vietnamese food like pho has just swung open its doors in Toronto, and in addition to pho it’s serving all your favourites.

VBOW Pho Mi & More is serving up a menu of typical Vietnamese comfort food, including appetizers, pho, banh mi, noodle dishes, rice dishes, matcha and Vietnamese coffee, and a list of specialty cocktails. They’re now taking up residence in a chill but elegant space with seating in a bustling neighbourhood in Toronto.

Appetizers include salad rolls, spring rolls, chicken wings, mango salad and papaya salad. The banh mi comes in pork, beef, lemongrass chicken and tofu varieties.

All the options for pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) are pretty typical, and mostly include options for various kinds of beef, as well as a chicken option. However, the standout on the pho menu is the VBOW Bone Marrow Royale pho.

It comes with bone marrow, ribeye, brisket, and beef balls for the ultimate meaty extravaganza in a bona fide pho experience. Pho is typically a rich, meaty, over-the-top experience loaded with various beef cuts, but this takes it to the next level by adding ultra-luxe bone marrow into the mix.

The rice and noodle dishes are pretty typical for a Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto, with protein options that include chicken, pork, beef and tofu.

Cafe beverages served at VBOW include Vietnamese classics like ca phe sua da, as well as a full menu of matcha lattes. VBOW also serves a list of fun cocktails made with Asian-inspired ingredients such as calamansi, lychee and salted prune. And if you want to bring your Vietnamese coffee and cocktails together, the resto serves one drink that combines Vietnamese coffee and bourbon. The restaurant also serves beer, wine, sake, soju and a range of spritzer cocktails.

While the menu at VBOW Pho Mi & More is basically what you would expect at any Vietnamese restaurant, the team behind the new restaurant project is actually rather unexpected. The new restaurant VBOW Pho Mi & More is actually being run by the same team behind XBOW Barbers Lounge.

XBOW Barbers Lounge is a combination barber shop and lounge space, serving up alcoholic beverages as well as fresh cuts – you actually can get a free alcoholic beverage with any service you book at XBOW Barbers Lounge.

VBOW Pho Mi & More is now open at 650 College St.
