Toronto’s only brunch tour is launching soon, and it’ll take you on an over-the-top midday romp through bustling downtown Toronto.
Culinary Adventure Co. runs all kinds of food tours in Toronto, but now they’ve come up with something that might just blow all their other tours out of the water.
Brunch is Toronto’s favourite meal, so a new food tour centred around it just makes sense. The tour promises to offer a taste of Australian, Canadian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Asian and French cuisines. You can expect over 18 tastings with mimosas, Turkish coffee, pastries and artisan cheeses.
You might just visit hotspots like Forno Cultura, East Tea Can, TIFF Lightbox’s cafe bar Varda and new development Waterworks Food Hall on the tour that journeys around the King West and Entertainment District neighbourhoods.
Brunch is already great on its own, but this tour takes things to the next level with a Toronto International Film Festival theme. That means the tour will include locally made “movie snacks” and “filmic stops.”
Tours take place Sundays starting at 11 a.m., initially meeting at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. The tour costs $129 for adults and $119 for seniors and can be booked online.
Culinary Adventure Co.’s brunch tour launches Aug. 4.
