If you’re a fan of the quirky Knives Out movies and a lover of food, there’s a dinner experience coming to Toronto you’ll likely want to check out.

The Perfect Bite is a dinner experience that’s inspired by the Glass Onion movie on Netflix. As the movie is a mystery, anyone attending the event can expect to eat some great food and unravel a mystery themselves during the evening.

The experience will include a four-course meal and entertainment by six actors, and diners will work in groups of four to solve a mystery in two hours. That means you can come with a group of four, or be paired up with other diners.

You’re supposed to be immersed in the Knives Out universe, assuming the role of a member of the culinary elite invited to an exclusive dinner by acclaimed chef Maribelle Moore. However, this is no ordinary multi-course meal: the menu actually hides a secret about the “Salty Six,” a supergroup formed by Maribelle Moore and five other chefs. You’ll have to decipher clues on the menu to solve food-based puzzles within each course.

It may not help you solve the puzzles once you get to the dinner, but The Perfect Bite has released a preview of their menu. The first course will be a sweet pea risotto ball, the second will be a mushroom cigar, with duck confit for the third course and cheesecake for dessert. If you’re worried about the duck confit and cheesecake, they note they can accommodate vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free diners, and that the menu doesn’t contain shellfish, nuts or pork.

The experience will unfold at Peter Pan Bistro, which has the ideal ambience and aesthetic for this fun and whimsical dinner. And if you love dressing up, bonus: as for attire, you’re supposed to dress to impress.

Tickets cost a pretty penny, starting at $149 for an individual ticket, or $540 for a table of four ($135 per person). Prices jump on Fridays and Saturdays with a cost of $176 for an individual ticket and $640 for a table of four ($160 per person).

Tickets are on sale now for the event launching May 16 and running until June 30.
