A chocolatier that’s known for making some of the tastiest and most creative bonbons in all of Toronto has just opened the doors to her newest chocolate and gelato shop.
Chocolat de Kat has risen to prominence over the years with beautiful jewel boxes of bonbons that are as delicious as they are pretty, with flavours that include strawberry matcha, peanut butter and jelly, Vietnamese coffee, key lime pie, sesame hojicha and cherry brownie.
Now, Chocolat de Kat has opened a brand new chocolate store in a brand new neighbourhood, bringing all the yummy treats to the area. And that’s not all: from the looks of social media, the new Chocolat de Kat store should be serving up gelato.
And according to a social media post about the opening, that’s not all about the new Chocolat de Kat store that’s yummy.
“Our new space features the yummiest of interiors (thanks to Toronto-based Future studio, the fine folks behind the cozy spaces of Othership, Maven, and N.L Ginzberg),” reads a post from Chocolat de Kat.
“As we searched far and wide to find our new digs, there was no question in our minds that Summerhill would be the perfect area to call home (even if it took almost 3 years from idea to reality!).”
The post has soared to almost 500 likes, with many comments from people who were excited about the news of the opening of a new Chocolat de Kat shop.
Chocolat de Kat is now open at 8 Price St. in Toronto.
