The movie line-up for the outdoor movie nights at Celebration Square in Mississauga

The movie nights at Celebration Square are starting a little later this summer.

Although summer has not officially begun, the hot weather is here, and families are starting to plan their summer activities, especially those that involve outdoor time, food and kid-friendly movies.

Celebration Square, which has been hosting movie nights for Mississauga and GTA residents for several years now, recently announced that it will once again be screening films on the big screen starting in July.

So, prepare to grab a blanket and find a spot with your family or friends to enjoy the following movies:

  • Thursday, July 4 – Kung Fu Panda (G)
  • Thursday, July 11 – No Movie
  • Thursday, July 18 – PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (PG)
  • Thursday, July 25 – Barbie (PG)
  • Thursday, August 1 – Nimona (PG), courtesy of Netflix
  • Thursday, August 8 – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (PG)
  • Thursday, August 15 – Wonka (PG)
  • Thursday, August 22 – Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (PG)
  • Thursday, August 29 – Trolls Band Together (G)
  • Thursday, September 5 – The Mitchells vs. The Machines (PG), courtesy of Netflix

Movies and schedules are subject to change and outdoor events may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

All movies start at 8 p.m., with the pre-show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Movie Nights, sponsored by insauga.com, are free and accessible. Closed-captioning is displayed during all film screenings and assistive listening devices are available upon request. Anyone who needs a device should speak with staff at the main stage prior to 8 p.m.
