A new official ranking of the most beloved and charming little cake shops in Canada has just come out, and a shop that can be found in Toronto is topping the list.

The number two and number three cake shops on the list are located in Vancouver and Edmonton, but only one totally adorable bake shop in Toronto could be named number one.

The number one most loved charming cake shop on Betway’s list is Roselle Desserts, located in Toronto’s east end neighbourhood. Number two on the list is Beaucoup Bakery found in Vancouver, with the number three spot on the list going to Duchess Bake Shop in Edmonton.

A list of the most popular and cutest cake shops in all of Canada has just been compiled by Betway, who compiled, analyzed and cross referenced factors such as social media following, level of search volume and ratings sourced from online platforms such as TripAdvisor. All these complex factors were combined to create a specific score used to rank the shops.

Roselle Desserts earned their spot due to high reviews as well as their 40,000 Instagram followers and strong search interest.

Beaucoup Bakery earned their high score of 63.50 through their strong Instagram engagement. Butter Baked Goods was boosted by their notable TikTok presence, and Crust Bakery Vancouver placed high on the list because of reviews and search interest.

Edmonton’s Duchess Bake Shop placed on the list due to high ratings and strong social engagement, Calgary’s Manuel Latruwe scores 49.69 with strong customer feedback and good search performance, and Ottawa’s Three Tarts has strong TripAdvisor reviews.

Roselle Desserts in Toronto is known for making a wide range of desserts and pastries, including viral pavlova, famous eclairs, signature caramels made from scratch and even soft serve in the summer. Daan Go, The Dessert Lady and Crust in Toronto also made the list of Canada’s favourite cake shops.

Betway also ranked cake shops in the United States, with Magnolia Bakery named as the most loved.
