Shake Shack’s opening date in Toronto is fast approaching, and they’re partnering with local businesses on exclusive menu items for the new Toronto location.

In addition to specialty items Shake Shack will be serving exclusively in Toronto, the American burger chain is also partnering with some home grown businesses for certain items. The exclusive items include a maple salted pretzel shake blended with maple syrup and pretzels, and a “More S’mores” concrete dessert made with chocolate and vanilla frozen custard blended with toasted marshmallow sauce, fudge sauce, graham crumbs and chocolate pieces.

For other exclusive menu items, Shake Shack is partnering with local businesses Brodflour, Chocosol, Bellwoods Brewery and Rosewood Winery.

The I Heart Butter Tart concrete will consist of vanilla frozen custard blended with Brodflour butter tarts and flaky salt, and the Shark Attack concrete will be chocolate frozen custard blended with brownies, fudge sauce, chocolate chunks and cocoa nibs from Chocosol.

Regional beer and wine options (Shake Shack famously serves alcohol alongside their burgers) will include a beer brewed by Bellwoods specially for Shake Shack called ShackMeister Ale, and a Shack Red and Shack White by local winery Rosewood.

Ontario dog bakery Wufers will even be providing special dog treats like Shack dog biscuits and Pooch-inis, which top vanilla frozen custard with the dog biscuits.

Bonus: five per cent of More S’mores Concrete sales will actually be donated to Campfire Circle, a charity that helps kids with cancer or serious illness as well as their families.

Shake Shack is opening at Yonge and Dundas on June 13.
