Secret menu items inspired by The Devil Wears Prada 2 now available in Toronto

The Devil Wears Prada 2 has been capturing the attention of movie fans, and if you’re a Miranda Priestley stan you’ll want to check out some of the special secret menus that are being served at Toronto restaurants inspired by the sequel to the iconic film.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, The Devil Wears Prada is a hit movie that follows the adventures of an ambitious young woman in fashion (Anne Hathaway) who grapples with her mean boss (Meryl Streep).
Now, the pair of stars have teamed up to make a sequel of the movie, and people are going gaga for it. If you’re one of those people, the secret menu items inspired by the film were made just for you.
The special items are available at Minami, Naari Thai BBQ and top cocktail bar No Vacancy.

There are two special cocktails being served at Minami. “Florals? Groundbreaking” consists of Roku sakura gin, the restaurant’s own Aburi Ginjo sake, salt-cured sakura blossom and sakura bitters, and the Dragon Lady is essentially a spicy melon margarita.
For the food items, there’s Prada and Pearls, which is sturgeon caviar and bluefin tuna belly on a bed of sushi rice. The Miranda Cut is a three-ounce roasted A5 Miyazaki Wagyu striploin with a peppercorn sauce.
Minami’s dessert is the Runway Finale: silken tofu dark chocolate cream with dark chocolate almond sponge, mango passion fruit curd, mango passion fruit sorbet and a genmai tea cacao nibs tuile.
Naari Thai BBQ is serving a Hot Off the Runway cocktail with mango chipotle reposado tequila, mango, chipotle, lime, agave nectar, Tajin and mango smoke.
No Vacancy is serving up a trio of cocktails inspired by The Devil Wears Prada 2.
“Please Bore Someone Else” is made with Dillons Vodka, an olive oil wash, activated charcoal, Plymouth gin, vermouths and yuzu bitters. The “Gone to Paris” is a combination of soju, Roku gin, citrus oleo, cream and Pernod. And lastly, a cocktail called “I’ve Had Dreams About This” is made using Tanqueray gin, omija tea, burdock-gentian liqueur, Fonseca white port and grapefruit.
