Restaurants that closed last month during March of 2026 in Toronto are now gone, but definitely not forgotten. From a legendary hot wing place to waterfront fried chicken, from borscht to beef to breakfast, these places will be missed.
Here are restaurants that closed last month in Toronto.
The College location of this restaurant known for its hot wings sadly closed its doors in March, and Toronto really lost a good one. They served wings in heat levels that ranged up to apocalyptic, and it was one of the best places in the city for an authentic Buffalo wing experience. They served their wings with buckets for bones and wet naps for saucy fingers. There are still some other surviving locations outside downtown.
King West is down one club now that this restaurant has closed. This high energy spot served up not only the carbs needed for a night out, but also all the tunes and dancing to burn them off.

Fried chicken was the specialty of this restaurant that closed in March on the Harbourfront. In addition to their fried chicken and other Southern-inspired comfort classics, this place was also well known for their brunch service. It’s sad to see them go with spring and summer on the water just around the corner.

Lovers of Ukrainian food were bummed to learn about the closure of this semi-hidden restaurant on the last day of March. They served the borscht they were named for, along with other Eastern European favourites such as pierogies, cabbage rolls and potato pancakes.

This steakhouse in Etobicoke quietly shuttered its doors in March with very little explanation or fanfare. They were a go-to spot for special occasions, and hosted many unique wine dinners featuring pairings from different regions around the world.

The Eglinton location of this beloved brunch restaurant bid farewell to their community last month, leaving folks in the area with one less place to go for pancakes, eggs and smoothies.
