An all-day restaurant in Toronto that’s well known for its brunch will soon be opening a second location.

Manita describes itself as a cafe, restaurant and bar that serves “Mediterranean-ish” cuisine seven days a week. That includes options like sandwiches, salads, dips, pasta, steak and breakfasts that range from pancakes to shakshuka, all complemented by lovely cocktails.

Now, they’re bringing all that goodness to a totally new neighbourhood.

Manita has put up a post on social media announcing they’re hiring for a brand new second location.

“We’re still under construction but looking to fill a few top spots and have them train at Ossington before we open our new location,” reads the post.

They’re currently looking to fill the positions of chef de cuisine, sous chef, general manager and bar manager/wine director. They say the best way to get in touch is to DM them then email a short intro and resume to [email protected].

“We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups to apply please and thank you!” reads the post.

While they’re currently only looking to fill those specific positions for now, they’ll be hiring cooks and servers closer to opening and will be posting more about that on social media later.

The second location of Manita will be taking over the former Rosedale Diner space.

Manita should be opening their location in Rosedale around late August or early September.
