A certain hospitality group has been taking Toronto by storm in recent years, and now they’re opening up yet another fun concept right next door to one of their hottest new restaurants.
Big Hug Hospitality is responsible for Chinese restaurants Mimi and Sunnys, and most recently new deli-inspired steakhouse Linny’s.
Now, the hospitality group has announced the coming of a new luncheonette-focused spot right next door to Linny’s.
Called Linny’s Luncheonette, the spot’s Instagram bio simply reads “Sandwiches from Big Hug Hospitality.” They’ll be serving sandwiches made with the signature hand-cut pastrami served at Linny’s accompanied only by mustard, as well as smoked fish sandwiches, karnatzel, potato salad and coleslaw.
They’ll also serve knishes, cookies, house pickles and classic Vernor’s ginger ale and Cott’s black cherry soda to wash it all down. Bottles of hot sauce and jars of pastrami spice will also be available at the new Linny’s Luncheonette.
The Luncheonette will be a new addition to the hot Ossington neighbourhood where new restaurants are always popping up, opening at 174 Ossington next to Linny’s.
Linny’s Luncheonette should be opening May 9.
