Popular Caribbean beef patty shop just opened a new location in Toronto

One of the most popular top shops in Toronto for Caribbean beef patties has just opened the doors of a new location within the city.
Fahmee Bakery has been around for years, serving up Caribbean patties freshly made from scratch. They have beef and spicy beef varieties of patties, and they also offer other kinds of Caribbean food dishes. The food at Fahmee Bakery is also halal.
This shop isn’t an entirely new opening for Fahmee Bakery – the business is actually returning to Scarborough, where an original store of theirs actually tragically burned down. People in the neighbourhood have been patiently waiting for the return of their beloved patty joint, and now the day has finally come when the business has reopened in the area.
They’ve been waiting for more than long enough at this point, with the Scarborough location of Fahmee Bakery shutting down in 2022. Now, three years later, Fahmee Bakery has returned to Scarborough with the opening of a new location at the old Malvern Town Centre.
The opening of this Malvern Town Centre location in Scarborough also comes on the heels of the closure of Fahmee Bakery’s location on Lansdowne, where they had been operating for much of the time since the old location in Scarborough had burned down.
The Lansdowne location was small and humble, and was found in the same area as other businesses including a grocery store, with the entrance just off the parking lot.
Fahmee Bakery closed the doors of their location on Lansdowne in August, posting an emotional farewell message to their social media.
“Thank you all for supporting us through the good, the bad, the ugly then the good again. It is with a heavy heart to tell you that we have decided to move on from our Lansdowne location back to Scarborough,” reads the message on Facebook.
“It took a lot of thinking but I feel like this is the best route for me.”
The post goes on to say “In better circumstances we will be back at the west end. See you later for now.”
Fortunately, at least the wait for Fahmee Bakery to reopen in Scarborough at Malvern Town Centre is now over. People came out in droves to celebrate the reopening of Fahmee in Scarborough this month.
Fahmee Bakery’s new location in Scarborough has now opened its doors at 31 Tapscott Rd., 58B at Malvern Town Centre.
