Popular cafe and wine bar opening new location in Oakville

A cafe and wine bar that’s been steadily gaining popularity in Ontario is on track to open their third location ever, this time in the area of Oakville.

Lyla’s House originally started out with a location in Georgetown, but they’ve since expanded to opening a second location in the much bigger city of Toronto and are now setting their sights on opening another new location soon in the Oakville area.

The cafe and wine bar Lyla’s House posted on social media announcing the new third location in Oakville with the simple caption “Fresh Ideas, New Space, Same Vibes.”

Based on the reaction to the social media post on Instagram, it’s safe to say people are super excited to see the Lyla’s House concept arrive in Oakville. The social media post has nearly 1,000 likes on Instagram and over 100 comments from people who are excited to visit the new location of Lyla’s House that will be opening soon in Oakville.

Lyla’s House is known for their signature cafe fare like bagel sandwiches, but as a wine bar they also serve small plates and a thoughtfully curated selection of wines.

Their cafe menu goes way beyond the average cup of drip coffee, with items on offer such as an Iced Cherry Chai with Cherry Cold Foam, a Turmeric Latte, Iced Earl Grey Matcha, Iced Espresso Tonic and Orange, Lavender Mint Lemonade, Tuna Salad Toast, Hugo Spritzes, Iced Bailey’s Lattes with Caramel Cold Foam, and Brie Prosciutto Baguettes.

After a decade behind the camera and countless hours designing experiences, Lyla’s House was born,” reads the “about” section on the official Lyla’s House website, penned by operator Alex.

“It’s a living, breathing space that evolves with intention. Every detail, from our coffee selection to the art on our walls, is carefully chosen to create something authentic. Think of it as my personal quest for the perfect hang-out spot, turned into your new favourite place. What makes us different? We actually give a damn. We are creating your third place. You know, that sweet spot between work and home where you can just be. Whether you’re grinding through Monday emails or lounging on a Sunday afternoon, we’ve got your corner ready.”

The new third location of Lyla’s House at 326 Kerr St. in Oakville should be opening this spring around the month of April.
