Toronto is known for its excellent Thai restaurants, and one of the best ones in town just opened up a brand new location.

Pai is known for their classic Thai dishes like pad thai, khao soi and pad see ew, and was even recommended by the Michelin Guide. Now, even more people can access their food through a new location.

For the first time, Pai now has a location in Vaughan.

The Thai restaurant has partnered with Kitchen Hub to open up several ghost locations within their virtual restaurant concept that brings all kinds of eats together under one roof. They were already available from two Kitchen Hub locations at 1121 Castlefield and 1108 King West, and now they can also be found at the Longo’s at 2810 Major Mackenzie Drive West in Vaughan.

The new Vaughan location opened with fanfare including prizes, balloon animals and food samples. Lots of people responded to the opening announcement online, with many positive comments from people in the area. There were also lots of people hoping they’d open in other areas next, like Oakville, Durham and Mississauga.

As for some queries, the restaurant did respond. They replied on Instagram to one person asking if they were coming back to Etobicoke, saying they were still working on the buildout.

In response to someone asking “Where is the Mississauga one?”, they replied “That’s a question for Kitchen Hub.” So if you’re wondering whether Pai might soon be available in your area, you might not actually have to wait too long.

Aside from their Kitchen Hub locations, Pai has two sit-down restaurant locations at 18 Duncan as well as 2335 Yonge.

You can now order takeout or delivery from the new Pai location in Vaughan through Kitchen Hub or Uber Eats. The location is open seven days a week.
