One of Montreal’s most popular gluten-free bakeries just opened their first Toronto location

A popular Montreal bakery creating products free of gluten and dairy with classic French technique just opened up their first ever Toronto location.

The business has been in operation for about a decade now, but they’ve only just recently opened their Toronto location. What sets them apart is their elegant patisserie style, which can be something that’s hard to find when it comes to allergen-friendly products.
L’Artisan serves a huge variety of products, including cakes, pies, pastries and breads.
They’re not just any baked goods: cakes include a Saint-Honore delicately decorated with berries, and pastries include beautiful danishes and croissants, all of which wouldn’t be out of place at a French viennoiserie despite being free of allergens. They also offer some savoury items such as spanakopita and bagels.
What’s especially exciting about the new Toronto location is that while they’re gluten-free and dairy-free just like their Montreal location, the Toronto location is also nut-free, meaning even more people with allergies can enjoy their products.
A post announcing the opening of the Toronto location received nearly 2,000 likes on Instagram. A representative from L’Artisan tells YourCityWithIN.com that they decided to open a Toronto location due to the overwhelmingly positive response they received at the city’s Gluten Free Garage event.
