Vegan fast food chain Odd Burger is expanding big time, and that includes opening a location in Ottawa very soon.
Odd Burger is known for its range of vegan fast food items that approximate what you’d get from your average chain where meat is served, with options like burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenders, wings, fries, tater tots, tacos and shakes.
The brand has gotten so popular they’ve opened lots of locations in Canada, and now they’re poised to open three new ones within a month, bringing them up to 16 locations.
The Ottawa location will open up next month, adding to the number of Ontario locations for Odd Burger. The new Ottawa location will be situated near the city’s historic Glebe neighbourhood which has lots of restaurants and green space, and it will also offer delivery to nearby Carleton University. This new Odd Burger will have tons of seating both indoors and outdoors.
Odd Burger is also opening two other new locations prior to the one in Ottawa. They’re opening at 336A Mayfield Common Northwest in Edmonton, Alberta on or around May 11, and they’re opening their first location in British Columbia at 790 Fisgard Street in Victoria on or around May 18.
“We are absolutely elated to finally see all of these locations opening after so much hard work from our franchisees, area reps and corporate team members,” says James McInnes, CEO and co-founder of Odd Burger, in a press release.
“These sites are all incredibly strategic for us and will give Odd Burger access into key markets right across Canada. We believe they will service a key demographic for us and will open a lot of growth possibilities as new customers get to experience Odd Burger for the first time.”
Odd Burger is opening its first location in Ottawa at 1050 Bank Street on or around June 1.
