A new beach-inspired restaurant with Latin flair and a patio is opening up in Toronto.
Ceci Bar comes to us from restaurant group Oliver & Bonacini, also responsible for The Dorset, La Plume, Aera, Lena and many more. It’s actually named for corporate executive chef Anthony Walsh’s youngest daugher Cecilia.
The restaurant will be located at Yonge and Front, and while there isn’t too much info out there yet about Ceci, there is currently a preview of the restaurant going on at Lena.
“Ceci Bar celebrates creative, punchy plates with Latin flair, embracing the undeniable buzz of patio season in summer,” reads a post on social media about the preview.
You can get an overview of what’s to come at Ceci Bar with a $65 multi-course tasting experience. Dishes on the limited time prix fixe menu are a liquid nitrogen popcorn, mahi mahi coconut ceviche, carnitas tacos, red prawns a la plancha and chocoflan. You can also add on paletas (Mexican-style popsicles) in cactus pear, sea buckthorn or haskap berry, as well as a shot of mezcal.
Prix fixe menu items are also available a la carte, and you can reserve for the Ceci Bar preview experience online.
You can preview a taste of Ceci Bar at Lena from now until July 4.
