A local mini chain selling mochi donuts has announced they’ll soon be opening their most beautiful store ever at one of Toronto’s biggest malls.
Marry Me Mochi has been on a tear lately, opening multiple locations in quick succession. They also operate many constantly rotating pop-up locations at malls and other places.
While Marry Me Mochi may be known for their delicious mochi donuts with lots of creative flavours, they’re equally attention-grabbing for their pretty brand aesthetic and their “mochi angels.” People selling their mochi donuts can often be spotted sporting a huge pair of angel wings that beckons customers to try a taste.
Flavours might include options like Trix cereal, maple walnut, dulce de leche and white chocolate guava passionfruit. They brand is currently operating over 11 locations and pop-ups in places like Stockyards, Kensington Market, Square One, Vaughan Mills, Dragon City, Holt Renfrew and Dufferin Mall.

Now, they’ll soon be opening a “luxe cafe” location in a fittingly fancy place: Yorkdale. The newest Marry Me Mochi location will be opening beside Rolex where a Starbucks used to be.
“Marry Me Mochi is SO excited to announce our newest home in the epitome of luxury shopping,” reads a social media post from Marry Me Mochi.
“Prepare to be captivated by the beauty, sophistication, and experiences that define Marry Me Mochi. From the city’s BEST mochi donuts to an ambiance as elegant as our flavours, this location is set to redefine perfection. This one is going to be BIG. It will be our most beautiful store yet.”
They’ll be celebrating their grand opening at Yorkdale with goodies for the first 100 people in line to check it out.
A grand opening was previously planned for Dec. 7, but due to unforeseen delays should now be taking place on Dec. 14.
