A Mediterranean restaurant with a global reputation just opened a new Toronto location in an unexpected spot.
Miznon is helmed by Michelin Star Chef Eyal Shani who has more than 40 restaurants around the world including fine dining restaurant HaSalon in Tel Aviv, and who is also known for being a judge on MasterChef Israel.
In addition to Tel Aviv, Miznon also has locations in New York, London, Singapore, Paris, Vienna, Melbourne and Las Vegas.
The backbone of their menu is a list of pita sandwiches with fillings like steak, cheeseburger, lamb kebab and rotisserie chicken. They also serve side dishes such as potatoes, green beans and hummus.
There’s already a location of Miznon in the Yorkville area on Bay, but now they’ve just opened a brand new location where people can get their food that’s loved across the globe.
Miznon just opened at Kitchen Hub’s Castlefield location on Aug. 5. While that means the location is takeout only, it also means that it’s become a little bit easier for more people in Toronto to get their hands on Miznon’s eats.
“We’re kicking things off with a curated menu featuring fewer dishes,” reads a post from Miznon on social media. “This allows us to focus on perfecting each option and offering a unique dining experience.”
The post has almost 400 likes and comments from people saying that the opening is great news and they’re so happy to hear Miznon is now a little more accessible in that area.
