Global egg sandwich chain opening first Canadian location in Toronto

A breakfast concept with international locations will soon be opening its very first spot in Toronto.
Bad Egg has locations in Ireland and Pakistan, and now a new Toronto location will be its first in Canada. The restaurant specializes in Korean “egg drop” sandwiches, though its eclectic menu has many other items as well.
Egg drop sandwiches on the menu include the Meat My Lover with a beef patty, cheese, bacon and chipotle mayo, the Get Laid with fried chicken, tomato, lettuce and onion and the Bad Bubba Shrimp with garlic shrimp, cheese and sriracha honey sauce.
Other items you’ll be able to get at Bad Egg include avocado toast, French toast, burgers, bao, kimchi bowls and tacos. They’ll also serve a variety of coffee drinks.
The chain announced on social media that they’d be coming to Toronto around the end of last year. Now, they’re scheduled to open at 294 Richmond Street East around late May.
