A hype restaurant chain known for their viral breakfast sandwiches is officially coming to Canada, and they’ll be opening their very first locations in the country in Toronto.

Eggslut has gained a reputation for their cheeky name and branding as well as their orgasmically good breakfast sandwiches that are supposed to bring new meaning to the words “food porn.”

The breakfast chain already has locations around the world, but now they’re going to be opening soon in Canada for the first time ever.

The menu at Eggslut revolves around a lineup of breakfast sandwiches all starring, you guessed it, the almighty egg, and served on a warm brioche bun.

Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich are both made with a cage-free over medium egg and cheddar cheese. The hardwood smoked bacon sandwich comes with chipotle ketchup, and the house chicken sausage sandwich comes with honey mustard aioli.

What they call the “Fairfax” is made with cage-free soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo.

They also do an egg salad sandwich with cage-free hard-cooked eggs and thinly sliced chives mixed in honey mustard aioli with dressed arugula, as well as a cheeseburger with ground angus beef, caramelized onions, bread and butter pickles, cheddar cheese, dijonnaise and (you guessed it again) a cage-free over medium egg.

While their breakfast sandwiches are what they’re known for, Eggslut’s signature item is the boldly named “Slut.” While the name could be off-putting, the dish itself isn’t: a cage-free coddled egg on top of a smooth potato purée, poached in a glass jar, topped with gray salt and chives, served with slices of baguette. Their other specialty is actually a house-made buttermilk biscuit served with honey butter.

But it doesn’t stop there: other sides on the Eggslut menu are truffle hashbrowns, French toast sticks, salad and salted chocolate chip cookies.

“Eggslut is a chef driven, gourmet food concept founded in 2011. It’s inspired by a true love for eggs,” reads the Eggslut website. “The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare with a twist, all encompassing our key ingredient, eggs. Our goal is to share our food with everyone. No longer just a breakfast staple, we make eggs appetizing all day, everyday.”

Eggslut should be opening in Toronto on King West around spring 2026, and in the Yonge and Dundas area around summer 2026.
