A super popular Montreal cafe has been popping up in Toronto, and now they’re teaming up with one of Montreal’s hottest sandwich shops for the remainder of the pop-up.

Cafe Olimpico has been making a splash at Tilley on Ossington this week, with the much-hyped coffee shop doing their first ever pop-up coffee bar in Toronto. People have been lining up to get into the hat shop for a taste of their seriously impressive java.

The cafe is renowned not only for their quality coffee, but also their decades of history. They now have multiple locations in Montreal in Mile End, Old Port and downtown.

Some of their most popular menu items are their cafe freddo and cafe crema, which sound simple but are beautifully presented and luxurious. Both are on the menu at the pop-up, along with their affogato, granita limone, bitter mix and “remix” drink.

They’ve been in town all week, but this weekend they’re being joined by an especially exciting partner: Bossa.

Bossa is a sandwich shop and cafe that also has several locations in Montreal, and they’re known for their pressed and cold Italian-style sandwiches. Some of the sandwiches on their menu include steak pepperoni, prosciutto mortadella and their “Cutlet 2.0” that adds pickles to a typical Italian cutlet sandwich.

The hours of the pop-up are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., but judging by the lineups that Cafe Olimpico has inspired all on its own, you might want to get there early to grab a sandwich and coffee.

Bossa is joining Cafe Olimpico inside Tilley at 61 Ossington on May 25 and 26 for last weekend of their pop-up.
