Looking for a new escape as we head into a summer of long weekends and warm days?

Look no further than Somewhere Inn’s newest location in Collingwood. The same owners have an original spot in Calabogie, and now they’ve just opened this new boutique hotel.

Somewhere Inn in Collingwood comes complete with a wine bar, all-day bites, a patio, communal fire pits, thermotherapy circuits and moody rooms with way more personality than the average chain hotel.

The new boutique hotel is housed in a 100-year-old home nestled in the Blue Mountains. Rooms are equipped with walk-in tile showers, bespoke and vintage furniture, Nespresso machines, Bodum kettles, glassware and free WiFi.

The best part: the hotel is dog-friendly. One thing you won’t find, though: TVs. “In a deliberate choice, televisions have been omitted from the rooms to inspire you to venture outdoors for nature-filled afternoons,” reads the Inn’s website.

At the cutesy hotel, there are two suites: a Signature King and a Luxury King. The Signature King has oversized windows, restored historical hardwood and moulding, a kitchenette, blackout blinds and a curated collection of Canadian artwork and accessories. The Luxury King has all that, plus a soaking tub in a cozy bay window nook.

Rates start at $295.50 per night, but you may be able to get a discount for longer stays.

Somewhere Inn is now open in Collingwood at 128 Saint Paul Street.
