CLOSURE: Shop for viral desserts and cookies just closed down their storefront in Toronto

A shop for epic, unique cookies and desserts just suddenly announced they were closing down their storefront in Toronto.
Golden Crumb creates desserts and does live dessert stations for events, and up until very recently you could get their products at a small storefront location in Toronto. Their menu includes lots of creative cookie flavours like Kinder Knafeh, as well as other desserts like soft serve sundaes, milkshakes and viral Dubai strawberry cups.
Now, they’ve closed down the storefront and are shifting their focus.
The dessert business took to social media to explain the situation and let people know about the closure of their cookie shop.
“These past few years the journey has been filled with incredible milestones, memories, and people. To our amazing customers, thank you so much for your loyal support. You always showed up with smiles and encouragement every step of the way. We are forever grateful to have such a loving and supportive community,” reads a message posted by Golden Crumb on social media.
“While our storefront is closing, this isn’t goodbye, the show goes on! We will still be open for business through online delivery orders, live station catering for events, and of course we’ll always be with you every Eid, Inshaallah. We truly appreciate the love and support you’ve shown us and are excited for what’s to come.”

There are nearly 300 likes and dozens of comments on the post on Instagram from people who are sorry to see the cookie shop’s storefront go, but are wishing the team good luck with the next chapter in their adventure.
Some wrote simple comments such as “Onto bigger and better things,” and “What??! Gonna miss you guys.”
Others shouted out their success and suggested this is only the beginning for Golden Crumb. “Thank you for always being so kind and hook us up with the best desserts,” one person commented. “BIGGER THINGS COMING!” Another person even suggested in a comment, “Come to VP + lawrence area, you guys will do NUMBERS.”
“I’m going to miss the Strawberry cups,” someone else commented wistfully.
Other people made comments that were short but sweet and very sentimental. “Oh my gosh this is breaking my heart,” someone commented on Golden Crumb’s closure post. “My kids are gonna be so sad…we will be making a visit tonight,” wrote someone else.
The final day in operation at Golden Crumb’s physical location in North York at 16 Mallard Rd. was Oct. 31.
