A restaurant known for their sandwiches just suddenly closed up shop at one of their two locations.

Porchetta & Co. specializes in, as the name suggests, porchetta sandwiches, but they make lots of other great sandwiches too, in varieties like cold cut, fried chicken and eggplant parm.

Now, the restaurant has posted to social media letting everyone know they’ve suddenly shut down at one of their addresses.

“After 10 years at our 545 King West location, it’s finally time to say goodbye. Operating under the conditions of the past 5 years has been challenging to say the least and we have made the very difficult decision to move on,” reads their social media post.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers who have supported us during our time here and hope that we can continue to provide you with your fix at our Exchange Tower location in the future.”

Not all is lost, as there is another location of Porchetta & Co. not far away on the same street, and Porchetta & Co. is also planning on announcing a new location soon.

“We will soon be announcing a new location that will help us drive the business forward in a more sustainable and focused way,” reads the social media post.

The post has over 350 likes and over 30 comments on Instagram from people saying they’re sad to see the location go.

The last day for Porchetta & Co. at 545 King St. W. was June 1.
