A Mediterranean restaurant known for its weekend brunch has announced that they will be closing their doors and shutting down very soon in Toronto.
Reyna on King has been known over the past seven years for serving up their signature Mediterranean creations, but now they’re sadly saying goodbye to their space on King and are closing down the restaurant.
Some of the items served on their dinner menu include Lamb chops, Lebanese tacos, Manchego croquettes, house-made beet and cashew tzatziki, grilled prawns, picanha beef and ricotta fritters. As for their brunch, one of the signature dishes they were best known for was their baklava French toast.
Reyna on King took to social media to announce the closure with a post.
“After seven unforgettable years, Reyna on King is closing its doors. What started as a cozy Corktown corner became something so much bigger; late-night cocktails, shared plates, first dates, birthday toasts, wedding proposals and the kind of laughter that lingered long after last call. YOU made this spot what it was. Truly. Join us for one last week of cocktails, bites, and memory-making,” reads a post on social media from Reyna on King.
“Come raise a glass, relive the moments, and help us close this chapter the Reyna way. Thank you for all your love and support over the years – we are so grateful and will miss every one of you.”

“So many memories,” one person commented simply. “Sending nothing but love!”
There is a silver lining when it comes to the closure of Reyna on King: they’re still operating their sibling restaurant in Yorkville, simply called Reyna, at 158 Cumberland St.
The last day for Reyna on King will be Feb. 28.
