A restaurant has just closed down after 30 years of business in Toronto.
Jawny Bakers first opened in 1992, and operated as a community hub and casual dining restaurant for decades. The restaurant served relaxed bistro fare centred around steaks and ribs.
They’ve now posted a short and simple announcement about their closure on their website and social media.
“It is with great sadness that Jawny Bakers has permanently closed its doors,” reads the announcement.
“We are deeply grateful for your patronage and unwavering support over the years.”
The announcement has hundreds of likes and dozens of comments on social media from people saying they have many years of good memories at Jawny Bakers, and often went there regularly for their great food, especially with family.
Jawny Bakers posted the announcement about their immediate closure about a week ago.
