A restaurant and bar serving charming small plates in an atmospheric space has announced they’ll be shutting down this month.

St. Lo serves eclectic snacks in the St. Lawrence Market area, and has a unique and eye-catching stone interior. On the menu, you’ll find olives, crudo, mussels, oysters, shishitos and grilled trout: the perfect food for a chill night out.

Now, the restaurant has taken to social media to announce their closure.

“St. Lo has housed countless special moments. We built this place to be the space we always wanted and felt like the city needed; a home for the cultural fabric of Toronto to grow and evolve. We’ve loved being a place for many to enjoy a good meal with an old friend, celebrate birthdays, a first date and even get married. We’re so grateful to have been able to host and hopefully add to all of these moments and more,” reads a social media post from St. Lo.

“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created within these walls, but as the saying goes: all good things must come to an end. We recently received an offer that we couldn’t refuse and with a heavy heart we’ll be leaving this home we built at the end of April. We can’t wait for what the last few weeks of St. Lo holds in store and to share this final month with all of you.”

The last day for St. Lo will be April 27.
