A venue has closed its doors after over 10 years of business in Toronto and is hoping to relocate.
La Rev became a reliable spot for live music over the years, and also served Mexican food. At the venue, you could regularly hear funk, jazz and soul music, and the space also hosted open mics and jams.
As for food, La Rev served a menu of Mexican classics including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas and chimichangas.
Now, they’ve taken to social media to announce their closure in a post that has over 200 likes on Instagram.
“It is with mixed emotions that we announce La Rev will be closing its doors,” reads a post.
“For over a decade, we have had the privilege of serving our community, sharing our love of Mexican cuisine, live music and warm hospitality.”

The post goes on to advise that La Rev is “looking forward to a new beginning elsewhere” and to “stay tuned for updates.”
La Rev closed at its address in the Junction around the end of August.
