CLOSURE: Restaurant and lounge has officially closed its doors in Toronto

A restaurant and lounge that satisfied the cravings of diners with food and cocktails has announced they’ve now officially closed in Toronto.
Cravin Kitchen + Lounge served up a fine dining menu and craft cocktails, and also often had live music.
Their menu featured all sorts of comfort food dishes with an upscale twist, including a wide variety of pastas like pesto penne, as well as other items such as lamb chops, octopus and rock shrimp.
They also served brunch, and ran regular events for holidays and other occasions, as well as other events like paint and sip parties. They were especially known for parties like their Brunch & Whine day party with lots of brunch-y cocktails such as mimosas, palomas, Aperol Spritzes, espresso martinis, red berry sangria, white peach sangria and even epic mimosa towers.
Cravin Kitchen + Lounge functioned as an event space, and they offered catering for events as well.
The restaurant and lounge took to social media to announce their official closure recently.
“After three unforgettable years, the time has come to close the doors of Cravin Kitchen + Lounge. To every guest who dined with us, celebrated birthdays, hosted events, supported our vision, and became family thank you for rocking with us from day one. Your love and loyalty meant everything,” reads a message on social media signed by Team Cravin.
“Like many businesses in today’s economic climate, we faced evolving operational challenges that required difficult decisions. After careful consideration, ownership has transitioned and the space will now operate under new management and a new brand direction. While this chapter closes, the vision doesn’t die. Who knows, maybe one day Cravin returns, bigger and stronger, somewhere in downtown Toronto. For now, we walk away grateful, proud, and thankful for every memory created within those walls.”

So if you enjoyed eating all kinds of crave-worthy comfort food, sipping on cocktails, shaking it to live DJs at day parties and celebrating all sorts of special events from birthdays to holidays at Cravin Kitchen + Lounge, sadly you’ll now have to find another place in the area to do all those things. For now, it appears the space is up for grabs and it will be a matter of time before community members know what will be taking up residence at the address next.
Cravin Kitchen + Lounge was located in the Toronto neighbourhood of Etobicoke, at 5164 Dundas St. W.
