CLOSURE: Restaurant and club just abruptly closed its doors in Toronto

A restaurant that also functioned as a club-type space in Toronto has just announced they’ve abruptly closed their doors.
Runway 06 was formerly known as Marked, and served upscale dishes in an impressive, high-ceilinged space. As Runway 06, the space threw all kinds of travel-themed parties, and did an energetic brunch service with live entertainment.
Now, the restaurant has completely wiped all posts from their Instagram account, with the exception of one announcing their closure.
“Runway 06 has officially closed its doors,” reads the post. “This marks the end of an unforgettable chapter – but the journey continues.”

The post goes on to say that the Forthspace team behind Runway 06 is now shifting their full focus to their other venue Coffee Oysters Champagne, which also encompasses speakeasy concept A Toi. The King West restaurant specializes in exactly what it sounds like, serving oysters and bubbles in a classy space.
The last day for Runway 06 was May 27.
