A shop selling pie and sandwiches has quietly closed down in Toronto.

Sweetie Pie and E Street Deli once shared a space, but now both businesses have vacated the address where they used to take up residence.

Sweetie Pie is known for their range of pies, but at one special location in particular they also offered submarine-style sandwiches. E Street Deli made Italian-style hot and cold sandwiches with options like cold cuts, short rib and turkey bacon clubs.

The space with both businesses in it unceremoniously shut down a while back without any formal announcement.

Fortunately for fans of both pie and sandwiches, both businesses are still technically in operation, just not at their Queen Street address. Sweetie Pie has other locations at The Well, First Canadian Place and 525 University, and E Street Deli is operating out of the main Sweetie Pie location doing catering.

Sweetie Pie’s Queen location was actually one of their first locations, along with a Harbord location that also shut down recently.

E Street Deli and Sweetie Pie on Queen closed down a few months ago.
