CLOSURE: Location of healthy food restaurant just quietly closed in Toronto

A location of a restaurant chain serving healthy bowls just abruptly closed a location in Toronto, and it’s already turning into something else.
imPerfect Fresh Eats serves healthy salads, bowls and smoothies, and allows you to build your own meal with ingredients like spinach, black rice, sweet potato noodles, taro chips, chipotle chicken, steak and shrimp.
The chain once had a location in Liberty Village, but now it’s been quietly shut down with no formal announcement from the brand. While people in the neighbourhood may not have their own imPerfect Fresh Eats anymore, they won’t be going hungry with another restaurant already taking the place of the salad spot.
Signage is already up for a new location of Thindi, a cafe serving Indian snacks. They’re known for their sandwiches like a green chili cheese toast and cheese corn sandwich, as well as their own take on Maggi noodles like butter chicken noodles. Thindi also serves snacks such as dosa and idli. There’s lots of chai and coffee on the menu to wash it all down.
For those who love Indian food, this shift in the area is good news as it adds another option to the roster. And as for salad lovers, they shouldn’t suffer too much as there are other options in the area for healthy eats like Impact Kitchen and a recently opened new location of Forest Hill Farmhouse. There nearest location of imPerfect Fresh Eats is at CAMH.
Thindi hopes to open in Liberty Village by the end of the month. The last day for imPerfect Fresh Eats in Liberty Village was May 8.
