A Korean restaurant that just opened at the beginning of the year has suddenly shut down already.

Unnie was brought to us by the team behind Pocha 1989, but unfortunately the similar Korean restaurant wasn’t able to make a go of it. The restaurant served dishes like tonkatsu, garlic cream shrimp, “hangover cure pasta” and bibimbap. Unnie is a loose term of endearment for an older sister or older female friend.

Unnie took to social media to let people know they would be closing.

“We’re closing our doors,” the restaurant wrote in a simple post. “Thank you for all your love and support.”

There are a handful of heartfelt comments on Instagram saying “no!” and that commenters are sad to see Unnie go. A few comments touch on the short-lived nature of the restaurant.

“Nahhhhhh yall just opened your doors,” one person commented, with another person writing that their opening and closure “was fast.”

The last day for Unnie was June 22.
