CLOSURE: Flower shop closing their storefront in Toronto
Published August 19, 2025 at 11:13 am
A floral studio has made the decision to close down their physical retail storefront and cafe space.
Bloom Bar Studio is a flower shop that also sells gifts and functions as a cafe and event space. Now, their physical storefront and everything that comes with it will soon be shutting down.
“We’re simplifying, refocusing, and returning to where it all began: our home studio,” reads a social media post announcing the closure.
“With two little ones and life moving at full speed, this shift just makes sense. We’ll continue to operate Bloom Bar Studio as an e-commerce business, with a focus on wedding and event florals, just without the weight of running a storefront.”

The post has over 600 likes and over 100 comments on Instagram from people who are supporting Bloom Bar’s move.
The studio is selling off everything from their physical storefront including retail products, wedding decor, furniture and even fixtures. Once the shop closes, Bloom Bar will still be using the space for pickups, private workshops and consultations for a little bit before the new tenant opens in the space.
“Opening this storefront has been a literal dream. It’s truly felt like a Hallmark Christmas movie… just a girl from Thunder Bay opening a flower shop in the ‘big city,’” reads Bloom Bar’s post.
“It’s been a joy to meet so many incredible neighbours, host countless celebrations, build the kindest Flower Play community, and bring beautiful ideas to life.”
The last day for retail for Bloom Bar Studio will be Aug. 31.
