CLOSURE: Brunch spot closing down after 10 years in Toronto

A brunch restaurant is closing its doors after a decade of business in Toronto.
Cafe Neon will soon be shutting down and collapsing its operations into another location by the same team, Bar Neon.
Where Cafe Neon is more known for its daytime coffee and brunch offerings, Bar Neon is more of a nighttime spot serving Greek cuisine known for their deals on drinks and oysters. The bar also has an idyllic back patio.
Cafe Neon serves brunch and lunch dishes such as blueberry ricotta pancakes, eggs cilbur, morning wraps, breakfast sandwiches, burgers and salads.
“In 2015, we took a leap and opened our second brunch spot outside our Bloordale neighbourhood. Queen West, what a pleasure it’s been! 10 years of memories, laughter, incredible people—and the best brunch vibes. But this isn’t goodbye,” reads a social media post from Cafe Neon.
“It’s a new chapter. After a decade, we’re heading home to Bloordale, where it all began. We’re teaming up with our sister spot @bar_neon, and expanding our home at 1226 Bloor St W to include breakfast, brunch & lunch. Yes, that means more brunch, more Neon, and one dreamy patio. You heard it here first: Bar Neon & Cafe Neon are becoming one. OPA!”

So while that means one neighbourhood may be losing a fabulous brunch spot, another one is gaining a tasty brunch service.
The last day for Cafe Neon will be June 30.
