CLOSURE: Bottle shop just closed the doors of their storefront in Toronto

Toronto’s first standalone alcohol-free bottle shop that also functioned as a “sober-ish” community hub has sadly announced they’ve closed the doors of their physical storefront.
The non-alcoholic bottle shop took to social media to announce the closure of the physical store.
“Two years ago, we opened Toronto’s very first non-alcoholic bottle shop — a place built around one mission: to make it easier to find and enjoy the very best NA drinks in the city. Back then, finding a great non-alcoholic option was almost impossible. The category was small, store shelves were limited, and most people hadn’t even tasted a NA drink they genuinely loved. We wanted to change that — and together, we did,” reads a social media post from Bevvy’s signed by shop owner Cristian.
“Since opening, we’ve held countless tastings, welcomed incredible brands, hosted run clubs, and even threw a festival that brought more than 1,000 people together. We introduced so many of you to what’s possible without alcohol and gave dozens of brands their first home in the city. To everyone who tried their first NA drink in our shop — cheers to you. Over the past week, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and love from our community and the many close friends of this shop. It’s been a reminder of why we started and why this movement matters. And the truth is: while retail access to NA drinks has grown so much since we opened our doors, there’s still a lot of work to be done. We’re proud of how far the market has come — and even prouder to have helped spark it.”

While the physical shop in Kensington Market may have closed down, never fear, as this is far from the end for Bevvy’s.
“While the storefront may be closing, bevvy’s isn’t going anywhere. We’ll continue focusing on serving the restaurants, hotels, and venues across Toronto that want to offer the very best NA drinks for their guests,” the social media post from Bevvy’s continues.
“To close this chapter, we’re clearing out all remaining in-store inventory. From now until Sunday, November 30th, take 40% off all products in-store. Come help us clear the shelves, stock up for the holidays, and raise a final toast to everything this space made possible.”
Bevvy’s closed the doors of their physical storefront in the neighbourhood of Kensington Market around the end of November.
