A bar that was always changing has announced that its transformations are coming to an end.
Offworld Bar, which had most recently fashioned itself into Canadian-themed concept Grizzly Bar, has announced that they’re closing for good.
Offworld Bar was a space-themed bar serving sci-fi-themed drinks in an out-of-this-world atmosphere, but it wasn’t the first theme for the space, or for the people behind it.

The bar had made other transformations, becoming a beach-themed bar in the summer. Grizzly Bar was a Canadian-themed bar full of national pride, serving fare like poutine and Caesars.
The people behind Offworld Bar are the same team behind Storm Crow Manor, Toronto’s self-proclaimed “nerd bar” with origins in British Columbia. While Stormcrow is still going strong with its nerdy themed rooms and decor, it’s now the end for Offworld.

“This isn’t a reboot. This isn’t a rebrand. This is the end,” reads a social media post.
“Offworld was the beginning. Grizzly came after. Now, the entire vessel is shutting down. No new mission, no new theme.”
Offworld will be saying goodbye with a “farewell voyage” from Aug. 13 to 24.
