Celebrity chef Bobby Flay is finally bringing his food empire to Canada with plans to open locations of his chain Bobby’s Burgers in Toronto.
Flay is planning to open 65 locations in Canada over the course of a multi-year development agreement with Falcon Capital Group (FCG). There are currently nine locations in the United States.
Bobby’s Burgers is a rebrand of Flay’s longstanding restaurant Bobby’s Burger Palace, and opened in 2021. The chain sells burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, shakes and breakfast.
They’re hoping to open their first flagship store in Canada somewhere in the Greater Toronto Area.
“Expanding into Canada and becoming an international brand is a major milestone,” said Flay in the release.
“The Falcon Capital Group brings proven expertise in brand development and retail franchising that makes them the ideal partners to bring our signature handcrafted burgers, fries and milkshakes to a new audience.”
No date has been given for the opening of the first Bobby’s Burgers location in Toronto.
