Blue Jays food specials in Toronto are a great way to start off your night before heading to the big game, or keep you fueled up as you cheer on the team while watching on TV.
It’s possible there may only be a couple games left to catch (and only a couple more opportunities to try all the fun food), but if necessary, play could extend into November. If that happens, you might as well know where to eat and drink while you watch the Blue Jays make history.
The Blue Jays are scheduled to play against the Dodgers on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28, and if necessary, they’re also slated to play against them on Oct. 29., Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
Here are some Blue Jays eats and happy hour specials that are available as long as the Blue Jays are still playing.
Food specials
Vinny
This hip King West hangout will be serving up a Grand Slam Dog: a Wagyu hot dog topped with spicy beef chili, jack cheese, and pickles.
Mister C and Kost
Found on the ground floor and in the lobby of a fancy downtown hotel, these spots are serving up a Springer Wagyu Hot Dog as well as a Warrior Jr. Burger with Montreal smoked Oka cheese.
1 Kitchen Toronto
If you’re looking for a well-priced combo in a luxury downtown setting, head to this restaurant at Toronto’s 1 Hotel where they’re serving a $25 combo of a gourmet hot dog, fries and a Woodhouse lager beer.
Harriet’s Rooftop
If late October and early November games go forward, this rooftop spot will continue serving their food specials of nachos, wings and sesame chicken bites.
Happy hour
Nobu Toronto
Just a five minute walk from Rogers Centre, this international sushi restaurant is doing an extended version of their Tanoshi happy hour on game nights from 5 p.m. to 9 pm at Nobu Bar & Lounge.
Treats
Isabella’s Donuts
Snag a limited edition Blue Jays doughnut from this mochi doughnut specialist. They’ve topped one of their original glazed doughnuts with a buttery shortbread cookie with Blue Jays imagery printed on it. Limited quantities should be available at some locations as long as the Jays are still playing.
French Made
This cafe at Bisha Hotel downtown is offering macarons that are hand decorated to look like little baseballs, which are vanilla and orange-flavoured, as well as a blue matcha latte to show your pride with team colours (while also getting a caffeine fix so you can stay up and cheer on the Blue Jays).
