Barbecue spot that’s known for selling out expanding with new location in Hamilton

A barbecue restaurant that’s known for selling out of their super popular ribs is expanding with a new location.
Biggs Ribs has announced that they’ll be opening a Hamilton location, after they recently opened their own standalone physical store in Brampton.
Their menu consists of traditional barbecue fare including ribs, wings, mac and cheese, fries, banana pudding and cornbread, and everything is totally halal.
Whereas the Hamilton location is more takeout-oriented, the Hamilton location will have space for dining in.
“Hamilton has a bustling food scene that people sleep on because it’s not Toronto, but they have some amazing options. Since we’ve been going out there so frequently we’ve found so many gems like Artie’s, Maipai and Delirious Burger, just to list a few. So we’re happy to include ourselves in the line up of great restaurants that Hamilton has to offer,” Biggs Ribs owner Elias Williams tells YourCityWithIN.com.
“It’ll be fun to have a space where more than two to three customers can finally sit down and enjoy our food hot and fresh off the grill.”

An Instagram post announcing the Hamilton opening has received nearly 800 likes and almost 200 comments.
The business has fought for everything they’ve achieved over the years, doing wildly successful pop-ups and previously taking up residence in a food hall in Etobicoke called Etobicoke Eats, located at 20 Lockport Ave.
“We’ve been able to meet so many new people and do so many things that we never could’ve imagined. We’re so blessed to be where we are and we don’t take it for granted, and thank you to the whole Biggs Ribs teams for making any of this possible because we couldn’t do it alone,” says Williams.
“To that person out there that is thinking about taking the leap and starting their own business, go for it. You may face barriers, but don’t let that stop you from trying to reach your goals.”
Biggs Ribbs should be opening their Hamilton location at 56 James St. North around August.
