A spot for waffles that only just opened about a year ago has now closed up their original location.

Postman Waffles serves, what else, waffles, along with cafe beverages, and they’ve also done soft serve. Their waffles come in flavours like ube, matcha, everything bagel, chocolate, blueberry, cheese and Earl Grey, and they even use them to make sandwiches.

Recently, the cafe posted to Instagram saying that their original location was shutting down.

“Big news! Our cafe is embarking on a new adventure,” reads the post.

“Our most heartfelt thanks to our amazing community of Yonge and Eglinton for all the love, support and making our location feel like home. Here’s to new beginnings and continued waffle dates with all of you! See you at our new home.”

Postman Waffles has relocated to Wellington Market at The Well, one of Toronto’s biggest new developments. Wellington Market is one of Toronto’s most exciting new foodie destinations, which just opened their massive fully licensed food hall with dozens of vendors.

They’ve already been drawing lineups at their new location, so if you’re missing the Yonge and Eglinton waffle spot, check out their new digs downtown.
