A major steakhouse just closed down in Toronto, but they won’t be totally gone from the city.
Marbl is a steak restaurant on King West that’s often played host to celebrities and has a formal club dress code.
They’ve just announced that they’re transforming the space into something different and will be moving the Marbl concept to a new address.
The restaurant already had another location in the works, but now they’ve officially announced that they’re closing their original restaurant and are moving.
“We aren’t leaving 455 King Street W,” reads a post from Marbl on social media.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return of ‘One Hundred Days,’ a concept being brought back to life after 15 years. Stay tuned for an unforgettable journey as we transform and bring back the magic that started it all. Thank you for your continued support and love. We can’t wait to share this next adventure with you.”
People are excited about the return of the old One Hundred Days concept, with people making comments on the post like “100 days!!?? Ok I have fomo now,” “Talk about nostalgia wow LFG,” “Old school Vancouver vibes” and “Might have to fly out for this one.”
The new One Hundred Days concept still has a clubby vibe, serves food and drinks, and is still putting on 90s dance parties. You can also expect to see live music at the new concept.
Marbl is opening at 40 Temperance St. in the Financial District later this year, and the One Hundred Days pop-up concept opened in the old King West space on Aug. 10.
The last day for Marbl on King West was Aug. 4 when they held their last 90s night as the steakhouse.
