A rooftop chalet experience that invites you into an apres-ski-inspired escape in the clouds is coming to a Toronto space that can be found high in the sky.

The Kost Chalet is returning to the restaurant Kost that’s located on the 44th floor of the Bisha Hotel in Toronto. The experience promises to transform the restaurant into a magical experience that feels like an apres ski winter wonderland.

The limited time pop-up experience is intended to be an alpine-influenced little piece of Lake Tahoe, surrounded by the stunning, glittering views of Toronto that extend on forever outside the wintry windows of Kost.

Design touches include all kinds of warm and cozy elements like plush and furry textures, twinkly soft lighting, evergreen firs and sparkling white branches. Helmed by Caspar Haydar Design, the rustic space reflects a charming but elegant ambience.

Of course, the culinary experience that goes along with the Kost Chalet pop-up is just as stunning as the surroundings where you’re enjoying your meal. Stick-to-your-ribs apres ski chalet dishes are inspired by the hearty meals you tuck into after a day of hitting the slopes on the mountain.

Cozy comfort food that’s perfect for chilly winter weather includes elevated versions of classics such as cheese fondue for two, French onion soup, short rib poutine, shepherd’s pie, veal chop schnitzel and a beef dip sandwich. As for dessert, there’s also a chocolate version of fondue as well as a creme brulee.

The cheese fondue for two comes with a smorgasbord of dipping options for your molten cheese: rustic crusty bread, cornichons, apple, broccoli, grapes and potatoes. The chocolate fondue is made with French chocolate ganache and comes with marshmallows, raspberry blondies and seasonal fruit.

Of course there are cocktails to accompany everything, because what’s a cozy apres ski session without a few drinks to go along with all that warm and hearty food? When it comes to drinks, the cocktail list at the Kost Chalet includes mulled wine, a hot version of a Cozy Cosmo, the Red Jewel with tequila, lime, grapefruit juice, pomegranate syrup and soda.

There’s also a pair of shots on the cocktail menu called the Snowbunny which consists of vodka, creme de cacao and almond milk.

The Kost Chalet is now popping up at Kost on the 44th floor of the Bisha Hotel at 80 Blue Jays Way in Toronto from Nov. 28, 2025 to February 2026.
